The One Love Foundation was founded in 2010 in memory of Yeardley Love, a lacrosse player at the University of Virginia who was killed by her ex-boyfriend just weeks before her college graduation. One Love’s mission is to end relationship abuse through the education and empowerment of young people.
Sophie Fontaine and Charlotte O’Leary are One Love’s Campus Ambassadors at Yale. This semester, they are partnering with YWAC to spread One Love’s mission. So far, YWAC members have signed pledges to #LoveBetter and learn and practice healthy relationship behaviors. YWAC members have also helped with fundraising at a women’s lacrosse game that was dedicated to One Love.
